My Beautiful Romania
Rezervatia naturala
Vulcanii Noroiosi din Romania
Vulcanii Noroiosi sunt o rezervatie naturala
de tip geologic, localizati in Subcarpatii de Curbura, in localitatea Berca (mai exact intre Berca si Arbanasi) din
judetul Buzau din Romania. Reprezinta un fenomen rar intalnit in Europa.
Acesti
Cognand in anul 1867 cu ocazia unor prospectiuni petroliere in zona.
In
Muddy Volcanoes are a natural geological reserve, located in Romania in Subcarpatii de Curbura mountains, in the Berca, Buzau location from Romania.
They are being formed by eruptions of gas from the deep of earth, which
bring mud and water to the surface.
Named in local zone "Paclele" which mean "The
Mist", Muddy Volcanoes have the same structure as the real volcanoes.
Muddy Volcanoes have been noticed, for
the first time, by H. Cognand in 1867 with the occasion of an oil prospecting
by the area.
Berca has three areas with muddy
volcanoes, namely: "Big Paclele", "Small Paclele" and
"Paclele from Beciu".
The mud, the landslides, the
deforestation and the heavy rains give a strange look to the entire natural
reservation, almost like the lunar landscape.
